THE ART IS OKAY! BUT NOT THAT GOOD.

STOP WITH THE ‘oh we looked ugly in our childhood.’ SHIT, ITS SO FUCKING ANNOYING TO SEE. I MIGHT HAVE HAD LOOKED LIKED THIS! BUT I PERSONALLY WOULDN’T DRAW IT, SO SHUT YO APPEALING TO ASS UP!

The whole game, is a horror game where you think you’re playing a generic dating sim with a goofy premise of loving writing and literature! AND YOU GET TO DATE CUTE GIRLS. NOT REALISTIC GIRLS! IF I WANTED TO DO THAT! ID GO DATE SOMEONE REAL. WOMEN! NOT DIGITAL MINORS! But…Like I said….horror game, horror aspect ls sudden and very much sad.

These girls suffer from real world stuff…so seeing these anime characters getting hurt is to insight very much sad and shocking feelings….the point is to show the ugliness of their insides to contrast the superficial beauty they have and see through their facade….so, them being generically cute is supposed to be a messages about this. Hell, it being a game plays into this as one character soon starts trying to take over the narrative and killing the others girls so you the player can be with them. It’s really creepy and the parts where their models are seen doing disturbing things are supposed to snap you out of of the pretty haze they laid onto you, waking you up to the reality of the situation your in.

So tell me? Why draw them in such a way that invokes realism? Or as well over sexualizing them? I like to know, because seemingly anyone who draws these characters make sure to hide the inner ugliness and pacify the characters into their generic personalities that honestly takes away from the game?

Like the art thats in the head of this honestly isn’t that great(ill get into criticism and critique about this later.) and only makes the characters look goofy…like to me? They look like cosplayers you run into at a con, it’s a mix of the hair and their clothes. They more look like costumes and not the actual characters. To me, it would of been better for the artist to either change the hair and clothes to be more realistic and fit better with the style than giving them realistic faces and keep the other aspects of them. It comes off in an uncanny sort of way. Not saying the artist isn’t good, honestly they drew them pretty and if it wasn’t for the hair and clothes…I’d like it more. If I have to be objective, the art goes against the game by trying to make them too realistic and ends up not working for me in the level of thinking these are the characters. But if Im only looking at the art then it’s just okay.

Now lets get into the gaslighting and forcefulness of both of these two sides. Side A tries to convince you that ‘realism is good, anime bad’ while side b is ‘hate wokie, bad DEI art’. These two people have the mentality of fucking kids or have the mentality of fucking kids….I mean it in both ways and Ive seen enough of this topic to know what everyone thinks.

I’ll say this, if you like the art thats fine. However Ive seen people defend this art and put down other artists….shut the fuck up, I get having a preference….but do you honestly think…putting down other people helps? ‘Oh well they’re doing that to this artist.’ And? Thats only makes you look like a piece of shit. Just support artists if you care, they already suffer more from A.I. being told their are is bad only makes them want to stop more.

If you’re person hating this art and think you are fighting a war against the woke…go outside and take a loooooong walk. Think about this situation and really just being put in the artist situation…then you’ll understand that putting down this artist also affects others. I get having a preference….but should you push that preference onto everyone or respect the fact that artists have different styles and are free to do whatever they want?

As a person who has seen enough persona discourse and how the games seems to be very divisive to everyone, I have chosen to make suggestions for a new persona based on what people online want and conclusions I have been able to pull.

1. The removal of the dating system. Due to controversial choices and how toxic shipping wars are, the removal of this will foster a way healthier game experience that allows the player to not stress too much as the social links will be streamlined thanks to this removal

2. All characters will be going down the marvel/simplistic model of personalities, as fans seem to find very problematic parts of every character in game. To help we have gone with a system in where the characters only have one trait and only develops a secondary trait during game that is very minute to their character. We’ve done this as studies show that if a character is too complicated, fans react negatively. This helps fans enjoy every character as the two traits will be simple and unproblematic.

3. Gender seems to play a big part in discussions in a negative way. To solve this, every character is androgynous. Meaning that dialogue and character design is meant to keep the characters actual gender hidden and never mentioned at. To help with this, any feminine or masculine traits will be spread out to every character to keep things ambiguous.

4. Overcomplicated designs will be made more simplistic, meaning no designer clothes, costumes, hair color, eyes and other parts will be all be designed to be safe and standardized. Every character will be light and dark skinned as well, to quell any racial tensions in the fanbase

5. Persona’s and any mythological, religious or political themes will be removed, as those are hot button topics. Instead persona’s, shadows and many other imagery of the kind will be made more simplistic. New personas will be made such as ‘handymam.’ Or ‘football player’. Shadows will be things like ‘spooky paper’ or ‘mean elf’ to make things more forward for the players.

6. The characters will be around their mid or late 20s, removing and references to school, children or anything young. The school setting will be changed to a super market setting where our characters work at and deal with issues such as gas stations prices, monthly visits to the doctor and many other mature activities. We have also removed anything related to sex, such as talks of sexual activities, gender discussions, and bodily talk. The main threat our party faces will be stuff like a mean co worker who says things like ‘bad job’ or ‘give me your lunch money.’ That way the game has an easier time showing what’s bad or good.

7. Alternative costumes based on other persona games will not come in, as we don’t want to scare away people with how vibrant they are, so instead we made appropriate costumes changes such as ‘sleepy time’ costumes or ‘winter’ outfits. Very much appropriate and never to show anything sexual in nature.

8. Cussing of any kind is removed, as we want people to not feel uncomfortable with any tones or language that is harmful to any person of any kind.

9. Combat is done to be less violent and more safe looking, anything like stabbing, shooting or punch will be removed and replaced with light shoving, slaps to the noses or shoulder bumping.

10. Choices will be removed and will be removed as we wish to have people not get over complicated or hurt their heads. The story and game will be told like a story book for young children.
