The cultural climate of the day is distinctive and many are asking for ways to help minorities. One way we can deal with the issues that face the oppressed is by voting. Here we fight for policy and structures that affect the “least of these”. Link in our Bio. #KnowYourVote

Local elections are important. Our voting shows that we are submitted to the Kingdom of God in that we seek the flourishing of all people. We should be thinking about the common Good. Which is God’s intent in creation and redemption. See the link in our Bio. #KnowYourVote

Doubt is not a dead end. The badness of the world often makes us doubt the goodness of God. In our cultural moment, it’s good for us to be reminded that doubts don’t merit condemnation but should lead us to a conversation with God & others.

One of the great distinguishers between Christianity and all other faiths is the fact that we are made right with God based on what he has done not what we do. Obedience is an overflow of gratitude for Gods kindness to us. The same was just as true for OT saints as well as us!

The Exodus story says that God gives his people the law AFTER saving them. His kindness comes first, not their law keeping. Same is true for us. God’s kindness saves us, and we obey because we are saved not in order to be.
