Love animals.Oh and brown sauce. Can’t abide woke drivel. Vote Reform. Blocking #FBPE and Remoaner loons after 10 YEARS hearing them crying. #GetLabourOut
BREAKING: An Extinction Rebellion protestor collapsed and had to be revived today after his parents rang him to tell him they’d found him a job. Our thoughts are with him at this difficult time.
Conservative MP Gregory Stafford accused Louise Haigh of “inadvertently misleading the House” twice following yesterday’s PMQs.
And she literally ran off.
The Speaker should have called her back to address the allegations and correct the record.
Ministers must be held accountable for what they say in Parliament.
Nick: Can you say that there be measures taken to cut the welfare bill before the next GE?
James Murray: We will make changes.
Nick: Will there be savings?
James Murray: We will make changes.
Labour won’t cut welfare but they just won’t be honest.
I usually avoid sharing anything with the headache-inducing Narinder Kaur in but @jakeberry replied with an important point about reparations.
Nigeria wants reparations but they were very active in capturing & selling slaves. They also profited from it.
Nothing screams “Energy Independence” quite like making it illegal to drill for your own oil and gas while happily importing the stuff from Norway and the US - then locking the ban in so future governments need a full parliamentary majority to reverse your masterclass in self-sabotage.
Fixed It:
NEW: Interest rates rise to 4%.
Families now face higher mortgages and more anxiety after months of economic chaos.
Today’s inflation warning lays bare how 2 years of Labour has weakened our economy, left us exposed to shocks, with falling living standards & low growth.
Really want to see a debate between Angus McIntyre and Wes Streeting.
Angus, who has more military experience than Labour entire defence team combined and 40 years in uniform all around the world.
Versus Wes, who has no military experience and we can tell.
It was like watching a hungry seagull try to lecture on metaphysics.
Despite her obvious lack of ability, Haigh still trotted out stock insults aimed at her opposite number. At one point she suggested that Alex Burghart shouldn't read out his questions, before reading out her answers (and not answering his questions).
In fact, I got the sense that Burghart was being gentlemanly in his reticence to go in for the kill: had Labour put up an open can of sardines in the bottom of a barrel, it would have been a less obvious target than Haigh. But if anything, his stoic demeanour seemed to rile her further.
Burghart's questions were mostly about benefits. He highlighted the fact that the bill was higher now than it had been even during Covid.
Again and again Haigh – who yelled like an unlikeable landlady – insisted that the bill was coming down without explaining in any way how it would do so.

And here we are again. Taxpayers will fund another 450,000 foreign migrants expected to sign up for welfare benefits.
It doesn’t matter what the majority want. This gravy train will not stop.
The Growth Commission has estimated that the proposed terms of the EU Reset will have a net cost of £73 BILLION to the UK economy in the long term.
Why would *anyone* sign up to this?
I will introduce Reform's Shadow Armed Forces Minister, Wing Commander Angus MacIntyre, LIVE at 2pm.
Angus has more experience than the entire government defence team combined.
He has served in Arctic Norway, Northern Ireland, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Iraq and Somalia.
The Tories and Labour have decimated our Armed Forces and betrayed those who have risked their lives for our country.
Reform UK will rebuild our Armed Forces and right these terrible wrongs.
Tune in at 2pm to hear more about the brilliant work Angus will be doing.
Annnd … this is what happens when your government is economically illiterate, run by a civil service who refuses to do anything different …
Labour promised to abolish the quango NHS England to save taxpayers money. Er… but there’s a teeny weeny problem…
Some NHS England managers earn up to £45,000 MORE than civil servants doing similar level jobs…. So rather than transferring everyone into the Department of Health, Labour is creating… wait for it…
A NEW QUANGO to replace the OLD QUANGO! (I shit you not)
3,000 +/- regional staff will move into this new quango (replacing the old quango)
And this brilliant advice came from Deloitte and cost taxpayers £7.94 MILLION 🤡
