@swingtrader Scary to think of what it will be able to do in another 1 to 5 years. It blows my mind how some folks have written ChatGPT off because of some of its current shortcomings.
@momotrader@KobeissiLetter I think there is a fairly simple and boring answer to this. The Chinese have found a way to infiltrate our air defenses and they’ve probably been doing this for quite some time and at an alarmingly large scale. US gov doesn’t want to look weak so we’re getting a weird coverup .
@zerohedge I’m very skeptical of this story. I believe there is a balloon, but I also believe there is a lot more to this story than what is being made public. Also, why would we shoot it down when we could possibly capture it and examine any interesting technologies that it uses???
@The_Analyst I work for a large financial services company that does have investments in real estate. I’m sure they don’t like empty offices. I’ve also heard rumors of tax breaks for companies putting people back in offices…
@The_Analyst I work for a large company that just returned back to the office on a hybrid model. Very few are happy about being back. People’s priorities have definitely changed over the past two years.
@unusual_whales Why does it feel like the US and NATO are keeping the nuclear and chemical weapon rhetoric alive? It seems like most of the headlines are driven by the US and NATO and not by Russia…
@lapatina_ Imagine living outside of Russia and seeing how much of a circus Putin’s invasion turned into and still volunteering to go to war for him 😬😬😬
