Atomberg water purifier dispenser clip broken, I said in my video about 3 months ago also that this part was very flimsy @atomberg_tech

Disappointed coz Atomberg was founded by IITan, feature wise it’s good but they should have spent more time on durability testing in real world conditions. Home minister is so mad with me now as such things never happened to use with Kent or Aquaguard purifiers.

Good thing is was able to raise a complaint directly from the app, let’s see how much time they take to fix the issue.

Applied for a credit card upgrade via my own account. Approval comes through, KYC is mine, PAN is mine, contact details are mine… but the card is issued in my wife’s name.

I don't know what Agile means.
Nobody does.
That's why it works.

On a board.
The board is digital now.

Day one, I said "we need to break down silos."
Everyone nodded.
Silos are bad.
I don't know why.
But destroying them is a career.

I introduced "squads."
Squads are teams.
But disrupted.
We disrupted the teams into teams.

But Agile problems now.
Agile problems are strategic.

A senior engineer asked what we're actually changing.

That's velocity.

The VP of Engineering said two-week sprints don't fit their work.

Waterfall is bad.

I don't know what waterfall is.

We had a retrospective.
In the retro, we discussed what went wrong.
Everything went wrong.
We put it on sticky notes.
Then we moved the sticky notes.
Into a column called "Parking Lot."
The Parking Lot is where problems go to die.
It's full.
We don't look at it.
That's agile.

Velocity is up 40%.
I defined velocity.
I also defined the points.
I also defined the stories.
We're crushing it.
At the things I made up.
To measure.
Ourselves.

The CEO asked for ROI.
I showed a chart.
The chart went up.
Charts should go up.
This one did.
I didn't label the Y-axis.
Nobody asked.
Leadership is confidence.

We do standups now.
Every day.
We stand.
For 45 minutes.
Standing is agile.
Sitting is waterfall.
My legs hurt.
But we're transforming.

The transformation is now "Phase 3."
Phase 1 was assessment.
Phase 2 was implementation.
Phase 3 is "continuous improvement."
Continuous means forever.
Forever means job security.
I'm very secure.

My contract was extended.
Three more years.
For "cultural impact."
The culture is confused.
But impacted.

Agile transformation isn't about being agile.
It's about transforming.
Continuously.
Toward more transformation.
The destination is the journey.

I was in the Taj Hotel on the night of 26/11 with my husband @Ajay_Bagga . We were fortunate to survive the heinous terrorist attack that night and were rescued alive after 14 hours .

The most bone-chilling scene in #Dhurandhar for me was the red screen where the actual voice recordings of the 26/11 terrorists and their handlers were played. To hear what the handlers were instructing the terrorists to do , how brutal, inhuman and disgusting it was - just sent shivers through my body. To see the scene recreated from the other side- the handlers celebrating at every bomb going off & every person killed - if that doesn’t fill us with rage and renewed commitment to national security, what else will?

17 years have passed but the memory of what happened and what could have happened to us just shook me to the core . Gut wrenching and painful

Our CFO asked me to "audit" our software subscriptions last week.

I deleted the spreadsheet.

Instead, I logged into the corporate Amex portal and reported the card as lost.

Every single auto-renewal in the company failed instantly.

I call this "The Scream Test."

It’s simple Darwinian procurement.

If a tool goes down and nobody runs to my desk screaming within 4 hours? We didn't need it.

The Marketing team was at my door in 10 minutes begging for Adobe. We renewed it. The Sales team was crying about the CRM in 20 minutes. We renewed it.

But here’s the interesting part.

The HR department’s "Employee Wellness & Engagement Portal" ($12,000/year) has been down for six days.

Not a single person has noticed.

I didn't just save money. I quantified the exact value of our corporate culture.

It is zero.

Stop auditing. Start unplugging. If it’s important, they’ll scream. If they don't scream, it’s just noise.

MSME banking struggles are a big pain point.

Few banks reached out after yesterday’s post blew up

saying they can get the loan passed.

But I’m completely done with that cycle.

We've submitted enough pointless paperwork

And despite the fact that that we have:
- Churned profit from day one
- Had Steady growth
- Clean audits
- Paid taxes
- Brought in foreign currency

every time, the loan falls through for some silly reason.

So we’ve decided:

We’ll build in Bharat, fund from elsewhere.

Good thing was:

Some bankers called just to talk.

They’re frustrated too.

They see good MSMEs denied credit while defaulters get away.

They’re stuck in a broken system.

One even asked us to help draft a note to put up to the NBMSME board.

We’re lucky.

Our company can manage.

But many others cannot.

Too many solid MSMEs die not because of bad business,

but because the system starves them of cash and that’s heartbreaking 💔

I understand your sentiments, but the reality inside government service is quite different these days.

From the outside, government jobs look peaceful.
From the inside, it’s controlled chaos in slow motion.

People still think government service is peace and prestige. In reality, it’s pressure wrapped in protocol.

You sign files you don’t believe in, attend meetings that lead nowhere and report to bosses who are interested in everything else other than your report.

Honesty isolates you, and integrity invites trouble. Your values are obstacles for the "smooth functioning of the system".

Your work touches lives, but rarely earns respect. You work for the public who has already judged you from their bedroom.

You serve the system, yet the system never stands for you. Corruption walks freely, while sincerity walks carefully.

You begin with fire in your heart and retire with a desire of ending your life in a fire.

It’s not a peaceful life. It’s a silent war, fought every single day.

PS: I am not saying that this is applicable to every government official. But I can definitely say that majority of the meritorious, honest and patriotic officers feel in a similar way.

Bought one in March, broke 4 times in 7 months.
App won’t let me raise more complaints, service guy says pay ₹2500 for a new filter.
Warranty doesn’t cover it. AMC costs ₹10K.
Feels like I bought a subscription, not an RO.
