If your "art" is threatened by AI then what you made was not valuable, or "art", to begin with. It was a commodity of pleasure. Art defined as an expression of truth and beauty through human craft, cannot be done by a machine even if its an exact copy. The catch is that 99% of art today is not art, now that truth, beauty, hierarchy and merit has been rejected. I agree that AI can create things that are enjoyable, like music. But it is not art. What it is, is something that brings pleasure. And I unashamedly am here for all of it. By modern standards of art, AI creates it infinitely better than humans. AI will hopefully bring the greatest purge to the faux art we have seen over the last 150-ish years. Most artists today do not create art. Its just slop. Real art will remain and can't be replaced by a machine.
