@MotulX22 @PaulTompkinsRE So you're only able to go off two proxy wars? Where China, in fact, did not step up and fight the US head on? One of which china's goals for intervention were never met, and the other where the US pulled out due to lack of public support
@catakemie I've done both, and let me tell you four 10s is unmatched. You go into your weekend after Thursday, can get all your shit done on Friday without worrying about weekend hours anywhere you need to go for errands, and then you still have 2 full days off
@umeshgeeta@nxt888 Ah yes the Soviet Union, the nation so mighty that it fucking collapsed and every satellite state broke from Russia as fast as they could fucking manage
@Loveczark@ThcDA0CebU57188@BeijingDai A nuclear weapon being used at all will already get the US to respond. Spilling American blood will get you turned into a parking lot
@Loveczark@ThcDA0CebU57188@BeijingDai One small problem with your life of thought there. If China nuked Japan, pretty much anywhere, it's almost guaranteed they will kill Americans in the blast, given our military presence in Japan as part of our defense agreements with them, and the tourism.
@commiepommie Correction: the US has about 299 deployable combat vessels (active and reserve), with plans underway to increase to 381 in the next 10 years or so.
US navy by tonnage (the metric everyone but Russia and China give a shit about): 4,168,037 tons
China: 2.8-2.9 million tons
@zhao_dashuai Congratulations on finally catching up to the US' 90s tech (allegedly). Maybe soon you'll be able to make a submarine that doesn't sink in a river
