@RaducanuNews@simonrbriggs Simon also ignores the fact that she was on court practicing her serve while at Suvretta House. How you consider yourself a journalist is a mystery @simonrbriggs.
@RaducanuNews She’s been back practicing for a while now. @simonrbriggs simply ignores evidence pointing in that direction. His article purports that this is her first sighting on court; however several photos have emerged of Emma at the NTC in recent weeks.
@BritishTennisUp@the_LTA She was ranked as high as 23rd in the world in March. A slide in the rankings due to absence from the tour as a result of injuries was thoroughly to be expected. Not exactly breaking news. 🤔
Emma Raducanu won the US Open 5 years ago. Important to note that the streets will tell you it was because of Covid and top players being MIA, so in an effort to debunk that, see the draw attached! Only Kenin withdrew because of Covid and all the top 20 seeds progressed to R3!!
@RaducanuNews Oh I see this is from the Sun! Will they simply follow her around permanently now?🙄 They also fail to mention that her friend from New Zealand is with them. One can see the blond hair despite them cropping her out of the photos. Shameful tabloids.
@gggg92476@marcus_buckland@wimbledonradio Everyone saw her just fine in her Queen’s run where she slipped on court, continued to play, won her QF and returned a few hours later to win her SF. Then she returned less than 24h later and played her final. All with an existing injury. She has grit and resilience. 👋
@TunedIntoTennis This is a surface level comment. What you ignore is WHY she didn’t play between IW and RG. Illness. Illness that forced her to do nothing for 6 weeks. Not fitness. No gym. Then ramp that up suddenly to get back on court? Perfect circumstances to get injury.
@McQuaidKP@TunedIntoTennis She was barely out of school when she won the USOpen and didn’t play a full shedule before then. You seem quite ignorant about her true history.
