@matt_vanswol @Apple Same. Just being able to send out a quick “I’m alive, house is ok.” message to my family put my mind at ease, knowing they knew I was safe.
They'll give 20% off in exchange for an email address, and free shipping if you spend $100+. But if you've already bought the shoes, and a shoelace breaks before the shoes do, you're SOL.
Companies are weird. Have a pair of @GreatsBrand shoes that I like, but one of the laces broke on me. No problem, I'll just order a new one. Except... they're $10, and then $9 to ship them. I don't mind the $10, but double that when all's said and done seems a little excessive.
Profit margin on a pair of laces has to be what, 80-90%? And the actual shipping on a pair of laces can't be more than $5. They're tiny! So instead of offering any kind of help, they basically burned a potential repeat customer to save $5? Weird.
It's crazy how big Super Bowl rings have gotten over the years.
I met a guy on a flight last year wearing a SB ring — he was a referee back in the day and said he never takes it off.
You can't do that today. They are just trophies that get stashed away.
Everyone wants affordable housing… until you make it affordable. Then they’re like, “But where are all the features?”
Lack of side windows = repeatable floor plan = affordable. Not a hard formula to figure out.
@rohindhar Feels like an over-pay at 410k. It’s a weird part of town, not far out enough to feel private, and has a TINY yard. Going to be tough to make those numbers work.
@rohindhar Feels like that’s *just* a little too far outside of town to work well as a high-end STR. There are lots of great STR’s that are closer, and that 20+ minute drive is a windy one.
Huge THANKS to @Allegiant for giving us credit back on the flight we couldn’t take because my Mom (who we were traveling to visit for Thanksgiving) got sick. You didn’t have to, but you did anyways, and I appreciate that!!
@ChrisK_STRs Depends on how quickly they message, “A/C’s not working!” when they crank it down to 62 in the middle of summer and it doesn’t immediately turn the house into a refrigerator.
@bchesky As a host with both a primary property and co-host duties for other properties, I'd like to be able to see a graph of just the primary property's earnings over time.
@bchesky@BChesky - Love the ability to filter within the new earnings dashboard. BUT I would love it even more if you could also apply those filters to the graph.
@shortseller@bchesky It’s because the overall rating is not a roll-up of the sub ratings. It’s a separate rating that the guest gives you.
In this case, the guest gave you five stars on the sub ratings, but four stars overall.
