The funeral of our beloved Lady Pamela Hicks will be held this Saturday at 3 p.m. at her parish church in Oxfordshire.
I’m told that “efforts” are being made to arrange for senior members of the Royal Family to attend. However, at this stage there is no confirmation of any attendance, and aides will neither confirm nor announce it given the private nature of the funeral.

Princess Christian was very involved in nursing. She figures heavily in my "Princesses on the Wards, Royal Women in Nursing Through Wars & Revolutions" @TheHistoryPress although I must say her writing was a nightmare to decipher sometimes!

“We aligned on something authentic, traditional and modern,” explains Emilia Wickstead of the wildflower-blooming, floor-sweeping dress she designed for Harriet, the paediatric nurse who married Peter Phillips, the son of Princess Anne, this afternoon in Gloucestershire. The elegant gown – the result of months of planning and hundreds of hours of handwork – “was constructed using a trio of different elements: a square-neck column underdress, a delicate lace overjacket fitted above the waist, and the pièce de résistance, a head-turning three-metre train”
Mike Tindall, Edo, Jack, Eugenie and Beatrice are obviously great pals, look how he enthusiastically greets them all, (and they him), on their arrival - just Mike being Mike! He's a hugger! 🤗
Harriet Sperlings wears Emilia Wickstead, custom ivory satin heels by Jimmy Choo and a tiara and earrings by Pragnell, a family-run Mayfair jeweller that also designed her engagement ring.
