The twisted wreckage of a 10,000-year-old supernova. 💥
Tracked the Eastern Veil Nebula right through Bortle 6 skies. 777 x 10s exposures locked in on the Seestar S50 & EQ wedge. Separated the glowing Hydrogen and Oxygen layers using custom pixel math.

Not 100% sure if it’s the absolute best setup out there, but I liked pairing the Move Shoot Move wedge with the Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer equatorial base enough that I bought a second unit for my Seestar Pro.

I have the official Seestar fluid head, but I really wanted the fine-tuning capabilities that an EQ wedge gives you for precise polar alignment. Honestly, you can pull off solid results with either approach, but if you go the wedge route, you’ll definitely need a mini pier or spacer to give the telescope body enough clearance.
