On the night of April 28, 1944, more American soldiers were killed rehearsing for D-Day than were killed storming Utah Beach on D-Day itself. It happened in secret, and the survivors were ordered to take it to their graves. Most did.
Six weeks before the real invasion, the US Army staged a full dress rehearsal at Slapton Sands in Devon, a beach chosen because it looked almost exactly like the Normandy shore codenamed Utah. Eisenhower wanted it realistic, so they used live ammunition. That decision killed men before the enemy even arrived, when timing went wrong and incoming troops were shelled by their own naval guns on the sand. But the worst was still hours away.
Just after midnight, a convoy of eight tank landing ships, packed with men, trucks and fuel, was crawling across Lyme Bay in a long slow line. Out in the dark, nine German E-boats had slipped in from Cherbourg, and they could not believe what they were seeing. The convoy was nearly defenseless. One escort ship had been damaged in a collision and sent to port, never replaced. Worse, a typo had put the landing ships and their lone escort on different radio frequencies, so the warnings that could have saved them were broadcast to no one.
The E-boats opened fire. One ship burst into flames, another was hit and went under in about six minutes, taking hundreds down with her. Men poured into water barely above freezing. Then the cruelest detail: they had been issued life belts but never trained to wear them, so many strapped them around the waist instead of under the arms. When they jumped, the weight of their packs flipped them face-down, and the belts held them there. Hundreds drowned upside down in their own life jackets.
By dawn, around 749 Americans were dead, more than would die taking the actual beach on June 6. And the generals had a problem bigger than the bodies. Ten of the officers aboard held BIGOT clearance and knew the time and place of the entire invasion. If even one had been pulled alive from the sea by the Germans, D-Day would have had to be cancelled. Frantic teams searched the water for all ten. Every body was recovered. The secret held.
So the whole thing was buried. Bodies quietly interred, paperwork sealed, survivors warned that talking meant court martial. The records were not declassified until 1974. For decades these men had no monument and no mention. They died twice, once in the water and once in the silence that followed.
It was called Exercise Tiger. Now you know.
The end-game in Crypto is getting close. After 16 years, Crypto has failed to gain traction. The Ponzi is running out of suckers. Only AFTER the final crash will the winner rise from the ashes - and that winner will be the original #Bitcoin that is now #BitcoinSV

Israel has used American-supplied munitions to kill tens of thousands of innocent civilians.
America is morally obligated to end support of Israel’s devastation of Gaza and its people. I’m cosponsoring the Block the Bombs Act to limit the transfer of offensive weapons to Israel.

History absolutely agrees with me. Show me a single revolution, revolt, or riot that has ever succeeded without elite backing.
If your political strategy is to wait for "the people" to "wake up", take power, and overthrow the current regime, you are wasting your time. Waiting for the people to overthrow a regime on their own is like waiting for Godot.
Political change does not come from waking people up, which is why accelerationists find themselves always accelerating without ever reaching their stated destination.
Here's how things actually work.
Elites rule a society and construct social, legal, and moral systems to cement their rule. Counter-elites emerge in opposition to the ruling class for a variety of factors (elite overproduction, theological disagreements, elite mismanagement or incompetency, sheer will to power, etc).
They either get co-opted by the existing order and incorporated into it, try to infiltrate the regime and change it into something else after hijacking its institutions, or instigate and coordinate a revolution to topple it.
But regardless of the method through which a counter-elite attempts to displace an existing one, there has only been one political order to ever exist, and that is oligarchy. The question is never whether elites will be in charge at the end of the day, it's who makes up the ruling class, and to what ends do they rule?
Any political movement that does not understand this iron law and act accordingly is doomed to failure.
Which is why every single populist protest against the existing Progressive regime has either been systematically destroyed or has ended up becoming a fail-safe valve to blow off steam that would otherwise be used to churn the turbine of elite circulation, which is the thing that Progressives truly fear more than anything else.
These people do not fear riots in the streets. Those riots are either organized by themselves to justify taking further action to morally justify their rule, or they're disorganized rabble who can be easily crushed with an iron fist.
What they fear is a counter-elite emerging who might USE public resentment against Progressives to overthrow Progressivism itself.
I have started a religion in the UK called Gunism.
A core belief of ours is that we should carry firearms and are therefore religiously exempt from any law prohibiting us
Who wants to join?
We are in a war.
Not a metaphor, not a flourish, not an exaggeration uttered for effect — a war in the truest, starkest sense. A war for freedom. A war for humanity itself. A war in which the battlefield is invisible, the weapons are abstractions, and yet the consequences are more tangible than steel. This is a war over the future of ownership — the future of whether a man shall own himself or merely lease the illusion from those who presume to rule him.
Digital cash is not a toy, nor a trend, nor some glimmering novelty for speculators to boast about. Digital cash is the hinge upon which civilisation now turns. It can create a world where the individual stands sovereign — unmediated, unchained, unobserved — holding in his hand the power once reserved for states. Or it can cement a future where every transaction is monitored, every transfer censored, every asset callable at the whim of the keeper. It can liberate us, or it can enslave us. There is no middle ground. This is binary — a choice between autonomy and subjugation.
And do not pretend that we drift gently toward either future. We are dragged. Contested. Resisted. Revolted against and besieged. Whether one invokes the grey tyranny of Orwell or the soft suffocation of Huxley, the point remains: the world stands on the edge of something unprecedented, and it will fall one way or the other. One side will win. The other will be erased.
If the aim is freedom, then the individual must be empowered. Unconditionally. Irreversibly. If the aim is dominion — if you want overlords, rulers, custodians, watchers — then stop worrying now. Abandon the idea of peer-to-peer exchange. Abandon the notion that a human being should hold his own wealth without permission. Abandon the idea that the protocol should scale so that all of humanity can transact at once. For slavery is always the easier road; it requires only that you capitulate.
But if freedom is the aim, then understand the principle: a digital cash system must let a person hold their money. Not a voucher. Not an IOU. Not a synthetic derivative locked behind watchtowers, liquidity gates, or shadow-banking intermediaries. Actual possession. Actual control. A system where assets, records, property titles, timestamped documents — all of it — can be exchanged instantly, directly, peer-to-peer, without middlemen in the middle of every breath a citizen takes.
No watchtowers monitoring your channels like wardens in digital towers.
No liquidity providers holding the rails like feudal lords of abstraction.
No protocol gateways that quietly siphon authority from the individual to the machinery of institutional custodianship.
No compulsory node-running masquerading as “sovereignty.”
No lightning-wrapped illusions designed precisely to keep the user in the position of permanent tenant.
Just cash. Digital cash. Handed from one person to another.
Simple. Direct. Human. Free.
That — not the technocratic labyrinth, not the pseudo-anarchist theatre, not the custodial IOUs dressed up as rebellion — is what this war is about.
And understand this: the opposition is not symbolic. The adversary is not theoretical. At stake are trillions upon trillions of dollars in yearly rents extracted by middlemen who have convinced the world that their parasitism is essential. Visa. Mastercard. BlackRock. The banking cartels. The fintech giants. The entire structure thrives upon the idea that every human action must be routed through them so they may take their tribute.
Their profits depend on you never holding your own assets.
Their empire depends on you never controlling your own keys.
Their dominion depends on you believing that “ownership” can be rented.
They take percentages of every dollar spent. Not millions. Not billions. But hundreds of trillions flowing through their hands every year. And you think they will give this up politely? You think they will allow genuine peer-to-peer exchange — without intermediaries — to flourish without unleashing every lie, every narrative, every smear, every pressure campaign, every bought academic and manufactured consensus?
People go to war for less than what is threatened here.
Nations go to war for less.
Empires fall for less.
So do not doubt for a moment that this is a war.
A war dressed in the clothing of technology, but rooted in the ancient struggle between those who wish to rule and those who refuse to kneel.
And when they whisper:
“Trust Lightning.”
“Trust the intermediaries.”
“You don’t need to own your money.”
“You don’t need to hold your assets.”
“Rent your property.”
“Rent your goods.”
“Rent your identity.”
“Let us handle it for you.”
Understand the translation:
Do not worry about your freedom. We’ll manage that too.
This is the moment where civilisation chooses its future. Either individuals reclaim the right to own value directly — to control their wealth without permission — or the world slides into a future where every citizen is monitored, managed, and monetised.
There is no neutrality in this.
There is no comfortable middle.
There is only victory or submission.
And I, for one, choose the war for freedom.

It’s all talk. Just withhold foreign aid to Israel for a month and they’ll stop bombing their neighbors - instant peace, the Strait of Hormuz can be opened, and gas drops $2 a gallon. Israel has been, and continues to be, the biggest welfare recipient from American tax payers.
