Yesterday, Mass Insight staff and AP Bio teacher Kristen Cote met at the MA State House for a briefing with the Gateway Cities legislative caucus about the AP STEM & English program. Thanks to Kristen, Senator Michael Rodrigues, and the Gateway Cities Caucus for a great morning!
@PicturesFoIder As a teacher, this has been the best thing my school has done in a while… I have not seen a phone in my classroom since this policy has started. Kids are actually talking to each other again!
@FixingEducation Yes! My school pushes students to take AP classes (they are getting rid of Honors level) and has taken away many of the supports we had in place for them. It’s all about the bottom 25%…
@heymrsbond Today was our pep rally for tomorrow’s Thanksgiving football game… kids walked the halls, got their faces painted, and all around had a fun day. We were out at 11… enjoy your break!
@piper4missouri Not advice but reality: I have some canned vegetables left over from a lab, and my husband spray painted a box of rocks bright orange for my kids to throw. I also have a 5 gallon bucket with a toilet seat in my prep room in case we’re locked down for an extended period of time…
This crow's name is Russell and every day he waits for his favorite kid to get home from school to fly in his window to watch TV with him.

@thebiospace I still like to have them tape/paste them in the packet so they can go back and see what they put where… do they have access to the diagrams later for study purposes?
