I finished all the playlists for all my Gods today so here's a thread of them. Some songs are chosen for the lyrics, some for the tone, some for themes. Obviously, there's gonna be a lot of upg here as most of the songs are mainstream & not officially pagan
It's been a minute since I wrote a real official blog post & it's a bit more chaotic than my previous ones but I'm leaning in to my chaos goblin side so here we go:

Since i shared the original post here i want to share this here as well. I'm disgusted that i let my story be twisted & i want to reach out to my trans friends & apologize:
Each God is the centre of all things.
Each God is the cause of all things.
Each God is a unique individual.
Each God is perfectly simple.
Each God is self-complete.
Each God is in all others.
Each God is One.
Each God is All.
Had a couple revelations around the Gods not existing in linear time. This allows us to be able to call out to different aspects of the Gods, the Gods in different moments. Such as Loki as Bound vs Loki as Free or even a pre-Fenrir betrayal two-handed Tyr. We can pray to a God
@CompostWitch Ooohhh that's a good way to put it! I'm in the same boat: mythic time exists outside but intersecting human linear time (ie perpendicular)
@OaknThyme Yea! I kind of see Them as nesting dolls of who They are at all different times coming together into one glorious Being (if that makes sense 😅)
@justice_witch It was honestly me just sitting shrine in the evening on a day I forgot morning prayers & being like "ah! I'm sorry!" & i honestly think it was Thor or maybe Freya that day that was like "no biggie, my guy. Just do all your prayers now"
different Gods have different tolerance levels. Frigg is definitely one of the stricter ones in my experience (i know a few people who find Sif more approachable as a Mother Goddess cause She's a little less strict) so that can definitely be part of it too.
I've also been thinking about piety & ritual purity when it comes to prayer & how prayer is more than just "talking" to a God. It's touching a God. I was about to light a candle with Frigg the other day & noticed some crud on me & i was like "ah. I'll just clean up after I pray
but that's more like rescuing a child sinking into a mud pit: you aren't gonna care so much about getting dirty in an emergency vs if the same child is just covered in mud always & reaches out for your wedding dress for no reason but to wipe their hands on something. & obviously,
