eusebeia is natural to us, i think it is part of our cultural fabric. it's not a superstitious need to be chosen and feel special rather it's a pull towards the evident and simple good. a divine eros that engulfs us. it's instinctual methexis of the soul in the divine.
@mortalstains this is so apt it's breathtaking. when they ask me or i ask myself why i worship the old Gods the simplest explanation is "it makes sense". they were always there in front of me so i walked up to them and they answered back.
