@this_not_News As a single parent I work 45-60 hours a week, get taxed but then intitled to benefits. If I wasn’t taxed I wouldn’t need benefits. They tax us very low earners so we have to claim benefits so we are under that scurge of the society umbrella.

#bbcqt as a single parent of 2 and working 45-60 hours a week yet I still get UC because working those hours is not enough to live on, that pittance of a child benefit actually means a lot to us. I can’t even begin to imagine how a single parent of 4 lives.
