@KatQuain Definitely this! I need to be more present with my family (and not responding to emails/doing other work). Appreciate the amazing things that are right there!
A6: While we would rather host F2F events with our families, we do find that we have strong participation in our virtual options, and they appreciate the phone calls to check-in. While not our preference, we are finding it successful...#MEMSPAchat
A4: The students need to know that we care. Phone calls and zoom meetings with my remote learners have been great ways to connect. For my F2F learners, I am doing constant check-ins and making myself available more than ever before. They need us! #MEMSPAchat
A3: There are constant setbacks in our position...am I right? Keeping a positive, growth mindset is imperative to keep us going! We have to lean on each other and support each other through it all. #MEMSPAchat
A2: My #Opportunity came from some awesome leaders who believed in me and gave me a chance, both as a teacher 18 years ago and then again as a principal 5 years ago. Love my admin team and so grateful for them! #MEMSPAchat
Megan Cottone, proud principal of Borland Elementary in Imlay City, checking in from Marysville. Ready to learn from my awesome friend tonight! #MEMSPAchat
A6: This is the connection that they need! Our Ss that might not participate in academic conversations might feel more comfortable in this type of convo & engage when their confidence grows! Think SIOP and our EL's! They all need a chance to communicate! #MEMSPACHAT
