Well that was unexpected! After being invited to cover the outgoing Mayor's charity awards (over £1600 to Stamford Brass and Stamford Lions Club) and a special shield to Darren Rawnsley for his support to the Arts, a second shield was presented to our Rob Persani for local radio!

The Stamford Mid Lent Fair opened tonight, and locals were ready for the earlier opening! The official opening saw a procession from the Town Hall to the Waltzers, where the proclamation was read by @CouncillorCroft
It's open nightly from 5pm all week, and Sat from 12 till 10pm.
