The Counter Press Podcast

“It’s just about the football, homie.” An LAFC podcast hosted by @kirkkinsey, @lafcjosh, and @lafcdaniel. CHICHO DIED FOR NOTHING.

Jack Elliot played the game of his life yesterday. Scored two goals, had what looked to be the cup winner. Unfortunately for him, @GarethBale11 listens to The Counter Press.

“We really almost beat Esperance de Tunis and we only lost to Chelsea 2-0, we probably could’ve won it all”

[Favian Renkel @FavianRenkel]

Incoming MLS Commissioner is watching the LAFC match with former LAFC Head Coach Steve Cherundolo.

What do you guys think they are talking about?

#MLS #LAFC

[The Counter Press Podcast @CounterPress_]

@AndrewZutshi YES

[The Counter Press Podcast @CounterPress_]

LAFC 3-1 over Austin. Brian Dunseth saying “clarity” multiple times in the broadcast.

What’ve you got for the show?

[Ben Cox @SirBenzington]

@CounterPress_ LAFC’s $ 1million Centerback’s last 5 matches:

5. Benched 🪑
4. 36’ red card 🟥
3. Suspended ❌
2. Benched 🪑
1. Passes to attacker and gives up goal 💸

[The Counter Press Podcast @CounterPress_]

@Das_Johnston Chiellini and Ilie to Long and Igor. This is a crime against humanity.

[The Counter Press Podcast @CounterPress_]

And we already know how LAFC handles making that current player the third DP (Chicho and Bogusz)

[LAFC Dad @LAFCDAD]

@CounterPress_ He'd be A DP I bet. Stupid rules

[The Counter Press Podcast @CounterPress_]

@LAFCGUY2018 Don’t hold your breath

[Kirk @kirkkinsey]

I know I have been going on and on about Aaron Long forever, but he really is so bad. LAFC fans can and should admit it.

[𝐋𝐀𝐅𝐂 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 @lafcdaniel]

Fully expecting LAFC to run over Austin FC tonight.

[The Counter Press Podcast @CounterPress_]

Ugh, look like*

[The Counter Press Podcast @CounterPress_]

Igor Jesus makes Aaron Long look Pique. He is that bad.

[The Counter Press Podcast @CounterPress_]

Everybody buy this so JT can buy all these bums out of their contracts

[Tom Cammalleri @Broncfan07]

@CounterPress_ Indeed. I have been unable to determine what it gets you.

[The Counter Press Podcast @CounterPress_]

@Broncfan07 Does that say $55

[The Counter Press Podcast @CounterPress_]

Really excited to see Walta be the best midfielder for LAFC for 3 months and then not be retained just like Moran and O’Brien

[𝐋𝐀𝐅𝐂 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 @lafcdaniel]

It might come as a surprise to you but Kirk and I are much more positive about what we saw from LAFC’s 1-1 draw versus Vancouver than the reaction here on X. Listen to the latest episode of the @CounterPress_ and join the Clarity FC bandwagon with us.

@lxhorta This would be a great name for our podcast at this point: LAFC Fatigue

[The Counter Press Podcast @CounterPress_]

LAFC really couldn’t possess or press against 10 men. Really embarrassing, honestly. Drastic changes are still needed beyond putting MDS on the sacrificial altar.

[The Counter Press Podcast @CounterPress_]

@Broncfan07 Still no creators in the midfield

[Kirk @kirkkinsey]

We have been saying on @CounterPress_ for months that Denis needed to move off the left wing for Shaff. He’s making aggressive runs behind on the counter and has drawn a DOGSO red in the first 7 minutes…
