Jack Elliot played the game of his life yesterday. Scored two goals, had what looked to be the cup winner. Unfortunately for him, @GarethBale11 listens to The Counter Press.
The fact that there’s buzz around a high school soccer game is good, but it doesn’t mean that the quality is high or that players are going to develop well
The passion is something worth building on, but a lot would have to change about HS soccer for it to lead to better players
Long story short:
Bouanga is converting the chances he gets,
Son is creating a lot of the chances, David Martinez makes something out of nothing.
And it’s not nearly enough.
@Itshenrymasters Everybody should already be boycotting League’s Cup as far as we’re concerned but absolutely nobody should be buying extra tickets right now… bravo to those who don’t
We’ve given enough benefit of the doubt. JT hired MDS to do the job, and MDS is out here playing with zero FBs, misusing Son in a similar way to Dolo misusing Giroud, and still benching the one player who always makes a difference in Martinez. JT has to get in front of the mic.
@Hollywood__17 Bro they are not pressing. If they’re supposed to be pressing then come get Bouanga and Son.
And that goal has nothing to do with midfielders recovering because it comes from behind the FB.
Go grind your Tillman/Delgado axe on a different play—there are plenty to choose from
@Hollywood__17 CB plays the ball out but we’re blaming midfielders for not pressuring????
This is the team playing a midblock and STL simply played over and made the FBs bleed
Anota @stlCITYsc: GOL de Totland.
Una jugada en equipo que dio como resultado el contundente remate.

@Hollywood__17 Eddie Segura is the one too high, the ball is played over his head. Raposo completely unaware there is somebody behind him.
Neither are FBs.
This is what a team looks like when a team hires a bro to be the manager. This team no longer plays with any sort of organization—the midfield is completely empty as players just float aimlessly. The defense has little intensity and is also disorganized.
Listen to Kirk and I explain to you why Marc Dos Santos’ tactics and management are the reason for LAFC’s polarizing exit from Concachampions.
