Unbelievable the hate you get.
As stated I’m not judging his decision. I’m giving my opinion on the PA. I’d articulate it differently and wouldn’t take a negative stance towards my engineer colleagues.
I’ve rejected many airplanes in my career and I most definitely needed facts to support those decisions. I’m sure this commander had solid facts.
In 20 years flying no one has reacted to me in the way people react on here. No hard feelings though, I understand it’s easy to spread anonymous hate.
You’re all more than welcome on my plane and I’ll do my best to secure your safety and wellbeing, just like this commander did.
Safe flights my friends.
@GraduatedBen You don’t work based on “feeling it” in aviation. Not judging him for his decision however consistency and predictability is key in aviation, not feelings.
$BTC monthly
You've seen this chart before, but today I want to draw your attention to the initial trendline rejection circled in red.
Last March, BTC felt unstoppable as it ripped past the prior cycle's peak and even closed above it.
But the monthly trendline on closing prices had different plans. Despite a complete lack of horizontal resistance, it commanded respect as it put an abrupt halt to the party and sent us sideways for 8 months.
This March, sentiment is abysmal, and I see post after post about how the cycle is over, and we missed the top.
But monthly trendlines on closing prices command respect, and the fact that we consolidated the better part of last year then decisively broke above it is a crystal-clear message.
As we hang in an air pocket with virtually no horizontal support until the low 70's, the monthly trendline on closing prices is quietly working its magic.
As firmly as it halted last year's advance, we must respect the potential for it to halt this year's decline. That is my base case until evidence to the contrary.
If the monthly chart bounces here, as I expect it to, you will see the party is not ending, it is barely getting started.
Maybe, just maybe, the common stigma of being a whore associated with frequent casual sex collectively shared by nearly every functioning civilization throughout all of human history up until a minuscule sliver of time in recency happens to be correct.
Maybe, just maybe, the immediate reflex of disgust, revulsion, and disdain all men feel when witnessing a woman they are interested in get used like a jerkoff rag by indiscriminate strangers happens to flare up for a particular reason.
Maybe, just maybe, the initial apprehension towards losing virginity or the nagging feeling of shame after the first few instances of completely casual sex most women feel could be hinting at some biologically ingrained truth.
Maybe, just maybe, the fact that every single type of polyamorous sexual proclivity involves dispelling deeply ingrained instincts of discomfort both before and after for newcomers suggests that such activities may not be natural.
Maybe, just maybe, the types of people who dispose of thousands of years of heuristic wisdom in favor of rational scientific conclusions should consider the plethora of scientific and statistical evidence correlating high promiscuity to worsening long term relationships.
Maybe, just maybe, when an entire civilization’s worth of normal people have designated whore behavior as something negative with a stigma attached to it, this behavior might not be favorable for anyone with a value time preference beyond immediate gratification.
Maybe, just maybe, the fact that a plethora of ancient and instinctual connotations being “wrong” and the biologically discomforting counterpart “correct” worldview requires the entire force of mass media grooming the population with specific targeted messaging in music, movies, TV shows, video games, and cartoons over the past 60 years to uphold this would imply something amiss.
Maybe, just maybe, for once in human history, a woman projecting extremely harmful behavior won’t be enabled by some other dumb bitch to justify their own horrible decision making, or worse, used as an example to sabotage other women into deteriorating their own existence simply out of competitive spite.
Or, maybe not.
