During the campaign, I spoke to small business owners in Hospitality who were struggling
I promised to fight their corner in the Senedd, and push for a more competitive business environment
Yesterday, I began work to fulfill that promise
See my full question below 👇
In the First Minister speech today and in Plaid Cymru’s Six Key Priorities for Government set out yesterday, there was:
- NO mention of Farming
- NO mention of Agriculture
I pray this isn’t a sign of their true intentions.
Agriculture should not be a mere afterthought and deserves to be a TOP Priority of ANY Government of Wales.
With @reformparty_uk , agriculture will always be a top priority.
We will NOT let our Agricultural Industry die on the altar of net zero dogma and unrealistic environmental targets

Why is it that the ones who champion themselves as, moderate, caring and compassionate. Willing to listen to both sides, seem to come from a higher moral standing, are always, and I mean always, the first ones to jump to, your a Biggot, Nazi, Facist, without a seconds thought?!,
BREAKING NEWS
“Furious” Starmer was not told local elections had taken place yesterday.
The PM claims civil servants kept him in the dark until this morning.
He has ordered an enquiry into why the elections had gone ahead without his knowledge.
“I thought we’d cancelled them” he told Sky News.
UK 10-year gilt yields today surged no less than 0.4 percentage points - or 40 basis points - due to fears that Britain is almost uniquely vulnerable among the world's big economies to spiralling fuel food and fuel prices.
The UK is the most inflation-prone economy in the G7. That weakness hasn't been caused, but has been more starkly exposed, by this US/Iran conflict.
So the huge global investors that lend governments money are charging Britain far more than any other G7 nations - more than Spain, Greece and Morocco (!) - to borrow, as compensation for higher expected UK inflation.
A 40bps point move in a single day, on a large-nation sovereign bond market, is a huge and deeply alarming shift.
The UK government's 10-year borrowing cost is now 5.15pc - its highest level since June 2008, just ahead of the global financial crisis.
This is a situation that warrants immediate and determined attention and yet our entire political and media class remains fixated with the ultimate Westminster-centric story – a deeply indulgent row about who knew what, when with regards to the appointment of Peter Mandelson as US Ambassador.
History will not be kind to us ...

They are trying to sell you a lie.
“Blame Labour.”
That’s the easy line. The convenient line.
But here’s the truth they don’t want you to focus on…
Plaid Cymru were never the opposition. They were the enablers.
Every bad decision. Every failed policy. Every missed opportunity for Wales they stood right there, backing it.
They didn’t challenge it.
They didn’t stop it.
They supported it.
Plaid Cymru are NOT the alternative.
They are part of the system that’s failed Wales for decades.
If you want more of the same, you know who to vote for.
If you want real change… you need something completely different.
Reform UK is that change. Vote Reform UK this May.
Vote Reform on the May 7 to back Welsh farmers by making them the preferred food supplier for the public sector.
No more chicken from China in our schools. 🏴
A message from our President, Baroness Ann Mallalieu:
If you care about preserving trail hunting & a free, thriving rural way of life, now is the time to act. By signing the Countryside Alliance e-lobby, you can support the Future for Hunting campaign.

In Newtown over the weekend.
I’m proud to be in a party that wants to back our farmers and protect the rural way of life.
Let’s drop the green targets and let farmers farm.
Absolutely scandalous!
As a Welsh farmer this infuriates me.
Another shocking example of how Labour say one thing and then do the complete opposite.
Burden 🏴 farmers with bureaucracy and red tape. Pass strict animal welfare laws, which nobody disputes, then undo everything by feeding our children on low welfare, low standard and zero traceability foods shipped in from thousands of miles away.
Only @RUKWales will end this madness.
Vote for common sense on May 7th.
Vote Reform ➡️🏴
🏴 I am so proud of what we have pledged do for our farmers and rural communities.
🤝 We will always listen to and work with you on every policy.
🌾 Reform UK Wales has your back. We understand farming and our agricultural communities.
Vote @reformparty_uk on May 7th 🗳️🏴

Bangor University have banned Reform and called us “racist, transphobic and homophobic”.
Bangor receives £30 million in state funding a year, much of which comes from Reform-voting taxpayers.
I am sure they won’t mind losing every penny of that state funding under a Reform government.
After all, they wouldn’t want a racist’s money would they?
@reformparty_uk will be on the side of Farmers EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. 🏴
Scrapping IHT, reforming the SFS to be centred around food production rather than ridiculous environmental targets, tackling TB head on…
Whatever it is…
We are listening.
We are on your side.

The Government’s shotgun clampdown won’t enhance public safety, but it will threaten rural jobs and conservation, writes @CA_TimB for @yorkshirepost ⬇️
