Druski says Drake’s call to appear in “Laugh Now Cry Later” changed his life 🙏❤️

In a recent appearance on @thediaryofaceopodcast Druski reflected on how the opportunity gave his career a major boost. Before the video, he was building an audience through comedy online. Drake’s co-sign introduced him to a much wider audience and helped open new doors.

Released in 2020, “Laugh Now Cry Later” also featured Lil Durk, with appearances from Druski and several athletes. Looking back, Druski said he still can’t believe Drake took a chance on him.

👀🧐 🚨 THIS IS CRAZY: WHEN BEING A DRAKE FAN STARTS FEELING LIKE A RICO 😭

🗣️ I swear, when I started receiving emails like this from legal support — and then seeing all these names and allegations attached to them — I started feeling like I was in some kind of RICO investigation just for being a fan of an artist.

Like… LOOK at all these names. LOOK at all this information.

I was literally receiving these notices alongside 20+ other people, and from my perspective, it was all connected to us supporting Drake and posting his music/content in a positive light.

And now I’m seeing UMG and other parties involved in copyright complaints against accounts, with some of us getting suspended across platforms.

I’ve personally had my X account suspended, so this isn’t just some abstract conversation to me.

🤔 And what I don’t understand is: Are fans not allowed to support the artists they listen to anymore?

What makes this even more frustrating is seeing pages that constantly criticize or post negatively about Drake using similar material and seemingly not facing the same consequences.

Meanwhile, accounts that consistently post Drake in a positive light are the ones saying they’re receiving copyright strikes and takedowns.

🧐 If the rules are supposed to apply equally, then the question is simple:

Why does it feel like the enforcement is hitting certain sides of the conversation harder than others?

I’m not saying anybody should be above copyright rules.

I’m saying the enforcement should be consistent — whether someone is praising an artist, criticizing an artist, or simply posting about their music.

Because at the end of the day… we’re fans. We’re supporting the music. How did it get this serious? 😭

Being confined to a wheelchair can already feel like a prison of its own. At this point, they might as well consider giving him bond and put on house arrest instead.

🚨 LIL DURK TRIAL: POST-TRIAL MOTION DEADLINES SET

A federal judge has approved a stipulation setting the briefing schedule for post-trial motions involving DeAndre Dontrell Wilson and David Brian Lindsey in United States v. Wilson et al., Case No. CR 24-621(D)-MWF.

According to the September 23, 2026 order:

🗓️ SEPTEMBER 30, 2026
• Wilson and Lindsey must file any Rule 29(c) motions for judgment of acquittal and Rule 33 motions for a new trial.
• The Government must also respond to Wilson’s Brady request by this date.

🗓️ OCTOBER 14, 2026
• The Government’s oppositions to the defendants’ Rule 29(c) and Rule 33 motions are due.

🗓️ OCTOBER 21, 2026
• Any replies from the defendants are due, including Wilson’s reply regarding the Brady request.

🗓️ OCTOBER 28, 2026 — 3:00 PM
📍 Mendez United States Courthouse Courtroom 5A

The court is scheduled to hear the defendants’ post-trial motions and Wilson’s Brady request.

👀 So the next major deadline is September 30, with the post-trial hearing scheduled for October 28.
