The Ombudsman’s anti-corruption crusade is fascinating.
Marcoleta receives campaign donations: “Clear-cut plunder!”
Joel Villanueva’s flood control case: “Ripe for filing! Also plunder! Maybe in two weeks!”
Villanueva transfers to the Senate majority bloc.
Remulla and Clavano want to sell this as a clear cut plunder case because Marcoleta allegedly admitted receiving 75M pesos in campaign donations.
But if that is the public basis, then this is incredibly weak.
Receipt is not plunder. Non-disclosure is not automatically plunder. A campaign donation is not automatically ill-gotten wealth.
Where’s the kickback? Where’s the government contract? Where’s the official favor? Where’s the misuse of public funds?
This should have been easy to handle. But Ateneo seems more focused on saving face than showing humanity after a tragedy. “Men for others” only when it’s good PR; when it looks bad, it gets swept under the rug. If you still play this UAAP season, shame on you.
The facts as we know them:
1. @Binance is reentering the Philippines thru Blockshoals, which was granted sandbox access by the @SEC_Philippines .
2. Blockshoals' owners are currently also involved in various Romualdez-owned businesses.
3. Both Binance and Romualdez have been associated with alleged money laundering activities in the past here in the Philippines, as recently as Nov 2025. (See ICI investigation into the flood control funds and how they were exiting the country.)
Does it mean Romualdez is actually behind Blockshoals? Not necessarily, but if we put all those facts together ... surely this is something worth looking into more deeply?
PS. The Binance website reportedly became accessible again here in the Philippines earlier today (although not on my Converge home connection) ... what a rollercoaster of a day it must have been for the local team!
These anchors are hilarious. They interview people they clearly dislike just to push their own point. When the guest explains, they cut them off because they’re losing the argument. This is why I no longer watch mainstream media. Pathetic.
Back then, those stats from Kylor Kelley wouldn’t even keep you in the league for 1–2 games. Now, teams are settling for those numbers because it’s so hard to find a quality import.
It’s sad to see the current state of the PBA. Before, you could always watch the best imports play in the league. Now, with so many competing leagues offering more options, teams are finding it harder to bring in high-quality imports.
After watching Kylor Kelley average 5.5 pts + 7.5 rebs over his last 2 games, Converge needs to go all out if it wants a chance to make the quarters. And word is 6'9 Donovan Smith (30 ppg, 12 rpg with Phoenix in 2025 Com Cup) will be his replacement. Worth the risk at this point.
I don’t think you’ll succeed with your political plans on this one given how things are going. Good luck getting more creative in pushing your political interests for 2028.
‘A WITNESS WHO HAS NOTHING TO HIDE IS VERY CREDIBLE’
Confessed “bagman” Ramil Madriaga could be a key witness in the impeachment case against Vice President Sara Duterte after he waived his bank secrecy rights, a move that Deputy Speaker Paolo Ortega V said could help establish a money trail linking him to the Duterte family.

Alex was lucky that her family could afford to train her at the Rafa Nadal Academy. But what if you don’t have that kind of money? You’re stuck. So beyond the excitement of hosting a WTA 125 tournament here, I hope focus could be given on developing tennis players locally.
UAAP standout Kaye Emana calls for better local support and training to help home-based Filipina netters bridge the gap with world-class competition.

UP MBT forgot to thank on their socmed post the real reason for their recent dominance. Is the fear of being canceled why you won’t publicly credit Jonvic Remulla’s support to the team?
I don't care how the list was obtained. What matters is identifying the corrupt politicians pocketing the people's money. Stop spinning the issue. It’s obvious you’re all terrified of something, you idiots.
