Effective today, the CLR provisions prohibiting patrons from opening cannabis packages in the retail store have been removed. Cannabis retail patrons will now be able to open their cannabis packages in the store after it is purchased, allowing patrons to inspect their cannabis!
@LifeCycleCanada@drowbb Here are a few bulletins with highlighted conflicting information. As a micro, we have to pay PST on cannabis clones. “A cannabis grower does not qualify for the exemption for qualifying farmers and as such is required to pay PST on the purchase of the cannabis seedlings”.
Great article. “The devil in the details”We were one of the first PST audits for Cannabis in BC along with @CovertValley The bulletins need updating! Many cultivators believe they are pst exempt. Most are not.
You can support the @bcgeu & independent retailers by writing to the finance minister, the Premier’s office & call your MLA.
Ask them to:
1) honour the bcgeu #cola request
2) please fast track Direct Delivery program
3) provide emergency Relief for small cannabis businesses
We are calling on the @bcndp to offer emergency direct financial support to businesses facing imminent closure due to the shut down of BC's cannabis supply monopoly.
@jjhorgan@KevinFalcon @SoniaFurstenau
@ms_janeen_davis@TD_Canada kicked us out! When I asked why they allowed other large cannabis companies to have account, I was told they are corporate accounts, and we could have that account if we invest $500,000 🙄
@canna_bius We continue to regularly test all of our Queen and mother plants. All new cultivars also follow a stringent quarantine period before being released to market to ensure no HLVd transmission to our clients
@canna_bius Great Question! HLVd has had a substantial impact on the cannabis market and it’s effects have hit Canada and the US nation wide. In 2021, Life Cycle Botanics built it’s own in-house laboratory with trained personnel to specifically test for HLVd
