My patients were telling me about their grandson and how he’s turning 11 or like 12 idk and all I wanted to say to that was “I think my first fistfight with my brother was around that age!”

I’m asking for a raise and if they refuse I’m going to find a new job I am TIRED. Like I wouldn’t do that but maybe if you leave an untrained person close out and get all the specimens ready for pick up, you’d double check to make sure it was done correctly? It’s not even HARD.

Like the morning shift comes in an hour before I do and they are supposed to check the lock boxes for this exact reason and she doesn’t. She could have caught it by the NEXT DAY. Instead I CAUGHT IT THREE WEEKS LATER LMAOOOO. It’s not even my job I just randomly looked in them

I’m sick and tired of nobody taking me fucking seriously enough to trust me with responsibility if these fucks knew how many god damn problems and mistakes I personally fix and take care of while the lab “lead”watched tik toks and pretends to go to the bathroom all day.

Like they were in a random box???? 5 different patients (one of them being extremely old and fragile and were closely watching his results weekly) specimens were lost :) one has cancer. Im sick and tired of this dumb ass being the lab lead. she literally let this happen.

The FIRST day of vacation when I was in Boston, the girl who has been here 8 years chose to not close the draw lab and instead let an untrained person do it :) I just found all the lost specimens from those two days lol. She put them in THE WRONG PLACE FOR PICK UP
