Once sat wondering what I could write on my final public health paper - the topic was -
'Conducting a rapid health needs assessment in an outbreak of disease or natural disaster'. Different time different place ... yet here we are - please stay home. Think of others
Today marks the retirement of Graham Orr @G_Orr1 from his role as Associate Postgraduate Dental Dean for Dental Care Professionals @NHS_Education. Great achievements over the past 11 years. We all wish him well in his retirement. Keep in touch.
First wrote pandemic influenza plans for dentistry over 10 years ago as my first DPH piece of SPR training with @thomas_david007 . Working to imagine the unimaginable and hoping it would never happen. I am in awe of my dental colleagues and how they have responded to this.
I continue to be astonished by the vitriol that still happens on twitter right now. I am ok with being misunderstood or not liked (it comes with the job) but that even at this time in our social history it’s happening I just find sad. Luckily love and kindness out lasts all. ❤️
I find the ‘temporary measure’ that there will be no #WalesToday slot during @BBCBreakfast incomprehensible and really worrying. Could someone @BBCWales please explain to us how this main morning TV slot will now cover Wales in any way that’s adequate?
@alededwardscym @LeonaAWalsh @BBCBreakfast@BBCWales I'm glad I'm not alone I do hope that if this happens that breakfast which I do enjoy can be uk representative we need to know what's happening across the uk. We are the uk all countries not just england.
