@LosAngeles_Scan I am deleting this app again for all the reasons. I wanted to let you know the unwavering commitment of support you’ve given to la this week is the ONLY reason I have hesitated. Thank you. And bye.
Dear #republicans and #bots: there is absolutely no conclusion on how and why the #LosAngelesFire has started. There are poor people who lived in trailers in #PacificPalisades. There are children who lost everything with extreme trauma. Watch your mouth. Mind your business.
In my house in Santa Monica right now trying to look for fire updates on Twitter and instead all I can see is political bullshit from people who have no idea what the fuck is actually happening here trying to make this partisan. Keep that energy for the next school shooting.
@MA22_azadam There are three trailer parks in the palisades. All gone. There are an outsized number of elderly who bought before it was too expensive. You are a ghoul.
@Rio_RicoTx@PopRelics There are three trailer parks in the palisades. All gone. There are an outsized number of elderly who bought before it was too expensive. You are a ghoul.
@Garrett_Archer There are three trailer parks there. Tons of elderly residents who bought before it was too pricey. You mock the pot and disabled. Gross.
The Pacific Palisades is one of those isolated communities where the average resident is probably in their seventies and has lived there for four decades.
With another few more days of Santa Ana winds, none of this is good.
@superphly@LosAngeles_Scan Local here. You can’t get to the water. It’s walked or glasses off. Then you would have to scale down boulders the size of mastiffs that are jagged and steep into waves pounding the rocks in a massive wind storm on a stretch of coast known for its high waves. You’d be crushed.
