Dreaming of a #WhiteChristmas?🎄❄️
Historically, New York City has measured a snow depth or new snowfall of at least 1" on Christmas Day in 25 of the last 152 years, or about 1 in every 6.
It's been less frequent in recent years however, with the last occurrence in 2009!
As New Yorkers, we know that if you see something, say something. In the case of spotted lanternflies, squash something. These invasive pests infest trees and plants & make them susceptible to disease. Please squash & dispose of any you see. #WildlifeWednesday 📷 @BirdCentralPark
“For the Birds,” a star-studded, 242-track collection of songs and readings inspired by or incorporating birdsong, became a sprawling project, its organizer Randall Poster said, because “people were spending a lot of time looking out the window.” https://t.co/wNfpXYdkIs
