@bestofStarTrek The simple fact that Seasons 1 and 2 can be completely ignored in favor of Season 3.
S3 wasn’t perfect but it was miles better than the garbage 1 & 2 were.
@WilmerDeLaRoca@Pirat_Nation The mixtape as a CD very much existed. I say this as a millennial in the late 90s & early 2000, I used to burn mixtapes all the time, I was also that asshole who had a minidisc player too. Regardless this game is ass by a nepo baby
@SaxManDre@TheTrekCentral Not toxic fandom. The current run of Star trek has been poor to say it objectively. They focused on a limited market and that market did not show up. Lashing out at others for something that wasn’t made for them and not liking something that wasn’t made for them… is delusional.
@StarTrekSFA Woke is bad writing for Star Trek. The reason people like this series is because it shows a world where we as a species grew beyond pettiness, and yet modern trek is the most regressive bs on TV
@TheTrekCentral lol let’s be real, Andy Weir dropped straight facts regarding the current state of Star Trek.
And project Hail Mary actually would have worked as an episode of Star Trek, but “the writers” are more focused on identity, modern allusions to current events instead of real Sci-Fi
@AnvilLitmus@fandompulse@grok Don’t need grok, he’s a YouTube has been who humiliated himself when getting catch false flagging his critics and having a weird love affair with boulders…which you think a movie about a rock monster would be really doing it for him.
@RobertPicardo I think the reason most of us don’t buy it, is Kurtzman has had over a decade to get this right and he’s missed way way more often than he succeeded. It’s fine if you guys want to change Star Trek, you have forgotten why this franchise was successful in the first place.
@StarTrekSFA@MeritHumanist You missed the point of Star Trek, the idea behind the series was that humanity had moved on from modern day problems. No attention would be drawn to it. From disco on they have drawn far too much attention to it. The disco future is not one to aspire to.
