@ThatEricAlper Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band. Live Bullet.
Alice In Chains. Unplugged.
Bob Marley. Live at the Roxy.
I’d need a 4th tho. Iron Maiden. Live After Death.
And yes. All live albums. Want the musical rawness of it all.
@JBONAMASSA Missing a metal drummer, so I’ll go with Nicko McBrain from Iron Maiden. Sean Kinney from Alice In Chains also deserves his due. @Guitarbizon
@fractalman237@deesnider You don’t have to be a KISS fan to recognize Ace’s influence on introducing a generation of kids to the guitar. Steve is amazing. Technically brilliant but kids didn’t have posters of him on their walls. That’s my point.
@dcherring I’d say everything sounds better on vinyl. My collection ranges from Maiden to Miles to Montgomery to Marley & Marvin and everything in between. I hear stuff I don’t hear on digital.
@SethDavisHoops Nope. He’s a world class athlete and should be able to land on his own two feet….this is acting. Time to clean it up. Unwatchable. At times laughable the flopping. Head jerks & so on. Never used to see that.
@jeromeportier@punt_rd Ya. I get it. He’s not Nuno or Dave Murray or John Petrucci. He’s still technically proficient and fluid in a live fast faced frantic massive show. So ya. I call that insane. This all doesn’t have to be thru some guitar purist note for note filter.
@darrenn6444@punt_rd He did. But still. People jump on Kirk for missing a note or something. Like at the end he’s going to go up to the mic and say hey I missed a note.
