This is so good.
And it is exactly why Fever fans are watching tonight so closely.
I’ve seen this cycle before, especially in coaching environments where ego, pressure, and favoritism collide.
Winning covers up a lot.
A coach can mishandle a star player, lose to a quality opponent, then turn around against a weaker team, change the lineup, shift minutes, feature a favored player, and suddenly look like a genius when the team wins.
But the win does not automatically prove the decision was right.
Sometimes it only proves the opponent was weak.
That is why the Caitlin Clark/Raven Johnson conversation has to be handled honestly.
This should not be about tearing Raven down. She is a talented player, and she deserves her own fair chance to develop.
But Caitlin Clark should not be put in a position where her role is minimized, her rhythm is disrupted, and then another player gets handed cleaner circumstances against a softer matchup so the narrative becomes, “See, this works better without Caitlin running everything.”
That is how bad coaching can manipulate perception.
The star sits or gets reduced.
The replacement looks good in a more favorable spot.
The team beats a weaker opponent.
The coach looks validated.
And the player who carried the pressure is left questioning everything.
Their confidence.
Their role.
Their value.
Their coach’s belief in them.
That is not leadership.
That is how great players get worn down.
If the Fever win tonight, great.
They need it.
But fans are not just watching the scoreboard.
They are watching whether Caitlin Clark is trusted, protected, and allowed to lead... or whether this becomes another chapter in a cycle where the most important player in the league is asked to carry the burden, then blamed for the weight.
Been saying it for ages. The WNBA, the (abysmal) media that covers it, Nike, the Fever organization. All of them. I have never in my life seen such absolute failure to meet a moment. Needs to be studied.
Shira. She doesn’t play is the really my point. She will be released or Perma benched.
She was much more aggressive last year and at least when CC got beat up she would occasionally stick up for CC unlike Tash Howard who walked the other way.
@CrashDavis8 Dantas had a bad year in 2025, shooting 26.3% from 3. I don't WANT her to be the same player she was last year!
This year so far she has shot 44.4% from 3. I've been so glad her 3 point shot is back!
NO!
THEY DON’T RIDE WITH HER.
They are trying to destroy CC.
We don’t need anymore proof.
This isn’t a conspiracy novel.
It’s happening in front of our faces.
Fever better win this game or the heat goes way up.
Nuclear!!
The issue Sybau isn’t that she gets paid. It’s the fact that Nike hides her brand & puts her in Kobe’s brand.
They don’t release the CC SHOE instead they play ball
w/the league by purposely not releasing the most transcendent player since Jordan.
That’s overt Brand destruction
@SportsPatriotUS@CrashDavis8 It’s both but she got paid 28mil over 8 yrs. Yes she loses the revenue piece but she gets revenue for the 4 Kobe PE’s they used. So, she is the only WNBA player with 4 sneakers and her own coming. I’d say that’s a win. No other W player has that. Oh, take a look at the Kobe PE $
@CrashDavis8 Story of entrenched Bureaucrats. They fight change when it is against their interests and power. League is now starting to go into the shitter as it marginalizes Clark.
I have the worst news...
A North Carolina father, Lester Jones, has been k*lled after he heard his 16-year-old daughter being beaten by her boyfriend with a pistol.
The father stepped between her and the gun, shielding his daughter from the bullets, ultimately giving his life to save her as the boyfriend opened fire, k*lling him.
His daughter survived due to her father's intervention, but is in the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say Lester's daughter's 17-year-old boyfriend punched her in the face and pistol-whipped her with a 9mm handgun in Concord, NC.
The father stepped in between them to protect her, taking multiple rounds himself, ultimately giving his life to save her.
The 17 year old, Keshaun Tirrell Degraffenreid, ran from police, but was eventually caught and has been charged with m*rder.
Due to Iryna's Law, he is being held in prison and will not get out. Please pray for the family and for the recovery of Lester's daughter who is in the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
WE DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!!!!!
i mean we shouldve all been on the same page the first time we heard carolyn peck say that shit abt cc. yknow stephs long time friend/coach😍 yeah caity has some pr answers a lot i take with a grain of salt but “i ride for steph” broke my heart ngl💔💔 baby she dont ride for you
This is Miss Mary, a 93 old woman who works AMC theaters cleaning trash people leave behind. My heart hurt watching this. This is not the way it should be. 🥹💔
@CrashDavis8@angryfansports I’ve been saying it for years. The WNBA from the top down HATES CC! They can’t stand that it took a white, straight female to be noticed by the mainstream.
They hate the fact that the growth is due to her and not some lesbian activist, feminist or mad black woman
