All Blacks came knocking and we looked forward to the rivalry. But then Rennie and a few pundit fans came barging in like he owned the stoep.

Dave Rennie, you arrived with a whining moaning clipboard, a grievance, and a press conference. You played ugly, then sold the ugliness as principle and narrative. Accused us of walking around the scrum, took the case to the cameras instead of the proper channels, and let a few travelling zealots and keyboard fans treat the South Africans, and our land that welcomed you, like like a rented lecture hall. Manners were optional. Narrative was not.

Today the lesson arrived on time.

You do not lecture Rassie about dark arts and then expect a quiet night. You do not smear Oom Daan’s scrum as a con and then ask the same eight men for mercy. You do not pick a fight with a group that puts the jersey before a headline, and then complain when the headline writes itself.

The All Blacks learned a hard, public education today and Rennie didnt help you: power still answers paperwork. If a few fans thought they were gods, but they discovered that the altitude, the noise, our people and the pack does not walk around anything — it walks straight fucking through it.

Go home. Pack the clipboards. Leave the sermon on the plane. Next time you come to our shores show some respect amd have some manners, bring a game, not a grievance — and knock like guests, not landlords.

Remove Race from Your Support Programme

Dear Amazon,

The U.S. government rightly regards South Africa’s race-based policies as a barrier to trade.

One of the five key asks of the Trump administration is that race-based requirements imposed on American companies be removed.

Solidarity supports this position.

Yet Amazon, an American corporate giant, is going even further than South African law itself requires.

Only companies that are 100% black-owned qualify for one of Amazon’s support programmes in South Africa.

Any white shareholding disqualifies a company from participating in the programme.

Amazon calls this racially exclusive programme “diversity”.

There is a glaring contradiction here: while the U.S. government is fighting against trade barriers created by race-based policies, Amazon is imposing draconian racial restrictions on companies seeking to do business with it in South Africa.

Exclusion based on race is not diversity.

We therefore call on Amazon to remove race from its support programme. Racial exclusion is morally indefensible.

It's easy to see why you would like that to be true. The next 4 weeks will show which team is the weaker one. It won't be the number 1 ranked team.. 😁
