The scenes of desolation I saw, and the testimonies I heard, while visiting Kibbutz Kfar Aza where Hamas terrorists murdered and kidnapped dozens of people were deeply troubling. Nothing can justify these heinous acts. Hamas must immediately release the remaining hostages.

In Palestine, I visited the Amari refugee camp where I was briefed by @UNLazzarini on the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza. I expressed my deep gratitude to @UNRWA, the backbone of the humanitarian response in Gaza. 🇱🇺 will continue its support to the agency.
