In 2014 I came to Berlin for the first time and almost bored my then girlfriend to tears dragging her around the German Historical Museum. The experience awoke my interest in German history and inspired me to study Prussian history for my MA and PhD.

We have a depiction of the installation in the documenta exhibition, as well as Kienholz's art work 'Sawdy', which shows the scene through a dismounted car door. We're trying to work out how to deal with and discuss this with visitors.
