In retrospect she should have said she would give Trump voters TWO seats at the table. Hindsight is always 20:20 but man. If only she'd capitulated to the right more. Fuck

Review of Mass Effect 2 (Legendary Edition):
This one's also sooo gooood!!! The opening is so fucking cool, and the premise of being an obvious pawn of the bad guys is kind of an interesting gimmick. Characters interact with this conceit in interesting ways...

I've greatly enjoyed my BioWare(tm) summer. The studio is excellent at storytelling, but always a little off when it comes to combat. Mass Effect is the closest they have come to greatness in both categories, the story having an appropriately epic galactic scale.

The new companions are pretty mid imo. Vega is a child in the hulks body, Javik just doesn't do much of anything and EDI is such obvious gooner bait that they mention it in universe. The explanation is kind of funny, but she is not that interesting a character.

I feel like the explanation should be part of the Leviathan DLC, instead of the main story. It is just too messy. Despite that, I feel like the story was great. So many great actors across the whole series. Anderson, Hackett, the companions, The Illusive Man.
Just wow.
9/x
The Illusive Man returns as the excellent Villain, with a seemingly planet sized supply of goons to shoot. Finally mass effect makes some properly interesting enemies that you must adapt to when fighting, with specialists from both Cerberus and Reaper forces.

Review of Mass Effect 3 (Legendary Edition):
Such a satisfying end to a trilogy. Both the player and Shepard, tired of war, tired of people not coming together, tired of innocents dying while the council races sit on their asses. This is Shepard at her most heroic and tragic
