I really don't understand how this happened

There was an off duty police officer on the same train who watched a white woman verbally and then physically assault three black women

And the three black women were taken to court? As the white woman played victim when the on duty police turned up?

How much stress, frustration and injustice have these three women suffered?

And I hope that off duty police officer has been kicked off the force, horrific, absolutely horrific

@stryermusic MCs have been a part of the hip-hop scene for 50 years- imagine if they all disappeared. Yes not all D&B MCs are equal but there’s a lot of good ones that let the music breath. Some tracks are ‘samey’ so they need an MC to make it more interesting.

@stryermusic Each to their own but please educate yourself on the history of MCs / jungle music/ reggae sound systems. MCs have been there since inception 92/93. Getting rid of MCs is taking away their livelihood, creativity, our culture. They’re just as important as the DJ’s.

As a Black female MP, I was shocked and horrified at the disgusting remarks.

The post about Glastonbury is in reply to people that keep saying the Notting Hill Carnival should be cancelled due to the number of arrests out of the million or so people that attended. Sadly there were 2 deaths at Glastonbury as well.
