@AlisonMarieR@greendragonhq@RonDeSantis They are not homeless. They are addicted. Jail them or help them. Don’t just let them sit in camps. Housing is not the problem. In salt lake we gave them housing and it didn’t work.
@Primes6tTest@911poet You know you’re basically getting stoned on speed, right? It’s not fixing any sort of imbalance or anything like that. We’ve turned our country into a nation of speed freaks with Ritalin and Adderall.
@bac37 When I grew up in LA in the 70s, fresh needle marks would get you arrested. This actually got people into a system where they could ultimately get rehabilitated or straight. Not living on the streets as junkies. Now they just give out needles.
I think it’s perfectly logical to require somebody to be of age of consent before transitioning. There’s too much emotionally and physically going on in a teenagers body. Hormones are racing, the brain is developing, and we can’t expect someone to make mature decisions about politics, owning a gun, buying a house, or any other serious adult decision. Allowing a child to make a decision about permanent alterations that their body seems a little bit excessive.
