@bengoldman33@ppchero I think a good example is terms like college, university, and institute. Historically, you may have segmented those out for a variety of reasons. I believe the search intent for terms like that is close enough to consolidate while using RSAs 15 headlines to ensure copy relevancy
@bengoldman33@ppchero If you're not using automated bidding, segmentation is fine. If you are, we want as many data points flowing into the learning algorithm as possible. Additionally, using RSAs can help make sure your copy stays relevant even if doctor and surgeon are in the same ad group
@bengoldman33@ppchero Hey Ben, grouping by intent refers to search intent. In your example, search intent for doctor and surgeon is likely different enough to warrant separate ad groups. Moving away from being too segmented is important if you're using automated bidding.
