If Valko returns—and I truly hope he does—I don't want him to return as someone different. I want the Valko we were supposed to meet on July 9. The Valko his creators originally envisioned and brought to life.

Personally, I hope the original team behind Valko gets the opportunity to continue his story. Behind him stands a team of writers, artists, designers, animators, programmers, voice actors, and countless others who poured their hearts into creating him. I hope those same people will be the ones to continue his story, because no one understands him better than the team that created him.

I'm not asking for punishment. I'm hoping for growth. Mistakes happen, but they can also become opportunities to learn. I hope the team can take this experience, grow stronger, and continue building the game they originally believed in.

Just as I hope Valko gets the chance to return, I also hope the people who created him get the chance to finish the story they set out to tell. That's the future I want to believe in.
