I was going to post this yesterday on World Aid’s Day But I woke up feeling so overwhelmed with sadness that words felt meaningless.
It’s hard to explain the sense of loss and confusion And despair for so many people.
Because my show is a retrospective of my Journey of the last 4 decades -Told through music :
How could I not recognize This incredibly important moment , not only in my life but in
so many others. “
AIDS came through like a brushfire.
Like a freight train.
It was unexpected and merciless. It destroyed all the beautiful people. An entire generation of artists was wiped out. Turned to ash.
In Loving Memory…………….,Gone but not forgotten. ♥️

Today is #WishListWednesday If you're considering making us food donation, the items we currently really need are tinned spaghetti, tinned peas and rice pudding. We're also still very short of washing up liquid.

Thanks!💚
Looking to make a #foodbank donation? We rely on donations to provide vital help while working in the long-term towards a #HungerFreeFuture. We’re currently running low on long-life milk and fruit juice, as well as tinned carrots and potatoes. Thank you!
Brilliant work from our volunteers issuing #foodbank parcels today. This emergency support shouldn’t be needed in St Albans and district – that’s why we’re working towards a #HungerFreeFuture. But until we get there, we couldn’t provide help without our volunteers. Thank you
This week is #HIVTestingWeek.
Anyone can acquire #HIV.
HIV rates aren’t dropping as rapidly among straight people - and they are more likely to be diagnosed late.
You can live a long and full life with HIV on treatment but knowing your status is crucial.
