White Watch @CreweTollFire on 22nd April attended a 2-day Pod Operator Course. Many thanks to CC Mike Stachowicz and CC John Wilson Falkirk Fire Station for assessing.
We would like to thank Kevin Davanna & Stuart Taylor from Driver Training for their assistance and hard work in delivering the technical & practical elements of the training package exactly as planned enabling the appliance to become fully operational.
Training is now complete @CreweTollFire new MAGIRUS Turntable Ladder and is now fully operational. Staff at Crewe Toll have been impressed with the performance of the 32m ladder which replaces the βSβ reg Turntable Ladder which served Edinburgh & the Lothianβs for past 23 years.
Really nice to see the report into Glasgow art school fire being published. I really appreciate SFRS sharing the information via open platform. We can all learn something from it.

Today @CreweTollFire seen 2 new Crew Commanders & 4 white watch staff pass their assessments on MAGIRUS TTL Course. They now join 3 members of red watch already trained on the new height appliance, thanks again to Driver Training Instructors Kevin & Stuart for all their hard work
On Friday following conclusion of the MAGIRUS TTL training, a HAZMAT exercise was conducted by @CreweTollFire Blue Watch providing staff to refresh their skills & valuable practical training for trainees in Gas Tight suits containing a leak of a hazardous substance from a tanker.
