@toddarcher First drive of the season with an opportunity to control the momentum of the game on the road, and you can’t admit you were wrong not going for it on 4th and inches? We gave up a TD on the ensuing possession anyway, so clearly field position didn’t play a factor in that at all.
For the record: Sending your husband out of the house, keeping him on the phone so you know exactly how much time you have, taking your children to the basement, and strangling them is not postpartum. That is not mental health. That is calculated, premeditated murder with criminal intent.
@Raise_The_Flagg@DTBxss@NBA2K I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks watching AD last year was rough.. the offense stops when he gets the ball. Too slow to play the 4 and injury prone to play the 5. And running a post offense to bad mid range jumper is terrible offense especially when u have Coop watching.
@naut4zewin@Scottmicha48098@APH00PS@JakeLFischer@BleacherReport They are not re-signing Dwight Powell. Mavs also have Caleb Martin, who is very expendable, and Klay Thompson whose name has been mentioned in trade and buyout talks for weeks now. Both of those two would be gone before Tarik even gets thought about. There’s ways to make space.
@SJBasketbal8 Not even close… playing Atlanta, Philly and Cleveland is nothing compared to the road Dirk had to face. This Eastern Conference is as weak as it’s been in a while.
@D_Nice_TheGreat@TheOneFortyPlus@ctrlnarrative@ClubShayShay You’re a fucking idiot with 0 comprehension skills. If u think a middy is an efficient shot then u clearly don’t understand basketball. The greatest basketball minds today have said this themselves.I’m sure all the mid range shots u took at ur local park 10 years ago matters tho.
@TheOneFortyPlus@ctrlnarrative@ClubShayShay Old school ball was very clunky,& spacing was nonexistent. Thats y the pace of play & scoring have gone up so significantly. The athletes of today r not the athletes of the 90s, & their skill sets have evolved 2. I’d rather watch a tm score 120+ than a 95-80 defensive snoozefest.
@D_Nice_TheGreat@TheOneFortyPlus@ctrlnarrative@ClubShayShay Any mid-range shot is inefficient. Why would you take a jump shot that equates to the same point value as a layup, dunk, or trip to the free throw line? Thats why a league that emphasizes three pointers and layups makes sense. Mid range shots are not good shots in an offense.
@2suunjoon@TheOneFortyPlus@ctrlnarrative@ClubShayShay I mean, the game has evolved away from the days of post-ups and deep twos, and I personally believe it’s better that way. My favorite player OAT is known for his post up fadeaways and I can still agree that it’s one of the most inefficient shots now looking back at it.
