This is the Nintendo GameCube TDEV (A.K.A. "Tiny Dev") development kit created by SN Systems. (Circa 2003)😎🤘

It housed a custom mainboard with double the main memory (48 MB of SRAM instead of 24 MB) compared to retail consoles. It used a proprietary USB 2.0 interface module that interfaced to the Serial Port 2 on the GC for loading games under test; and also provided real-time debugging to a Host PC.

It had a region switch to toggle between USA and Japanese settings, and a Disc Drive that was capable of reading both development and unencrypted CD’s. #Nintendo #gamecube #gamedev #retrogaming #tdev #gamedevelolment
