Hello, Twitter. I've awakened from my hibernation because I need to post this screencap of my crowning achievement.
(P.S. Not yet sold on the direction of the show, itself, but I'm willing to give it a shot.)
Was kicked from Celestial after the monthly reset earlier today, but got back in without too much trouble with a 5-0 run. Game's still fun, but not gonna lie, Anji being so butts makes it harder to enjoy. Might start seriously training up my secondaries.
Haven't been grinding ranked too hard, but I finally managed to get Celestial after a few tries w/ only Anji.
The solution? Be lucky enough to not run into any Sol during the qualifier. (Without cherry-picking opponents like a coward, of course.)
I love playing Anji, but goddamn, I don't think he's even worth playing in any serious capacity right now. The fact that all Fujin options, including doing nothing, can be clean punished on-block by the majority of the cast with DP/super is absurd. It's his whole damn gameplan!
@bradshoemaker [Despite feeling awkward saying this,] During my early days, you were a big part of leading my casual interest in games to a deep fascination with the industry, as a whole. Always am grateful for that.
Looking forward to even brighter days for you.
Monster Hunter Rise is a great shell for a Monster Hunter game, and has the potential to be my 2nd favorite MH game -- GenU the GOAT -- but it's sorely lacking content, at least for the time being.
More monsters, more Switch Skills, and more difficulty: then we'll be cooking.
