@rynoFbabyCRNP @emily_fri Yeah, femoral does have a higher infection risk. But it’s not so much higher that the risk of changing it is beneficial. My rotation in the burn unit when I was a fellow they were still doing routine changes over a wire every 3 days and new site every 6 or 9 or something

@elias_pratt Absence of evidence is not the same as evidence of absence of effect. Just because not enough people have studied it doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. 3% hasn’t been studied much outside of CF. But saying it has no utility outside CF is just wrong
