@stunninmarie@danishacarterr What does someone choosing not to have a child have to do with whether or not said possible child would have suffered to the point of wishing to not exist? How is ablelism a pro-choice issue.
@mrbadideas@danishacarterr Shouldn't they have considered it a possibility? I understand that if they couldn't handle it, then the child's life would have been worse than if cared for by people who could, but I still find the idea of treating disabled people like they are less than able people wrong.
@cenaforever1028@danishacarterr You wouldn't have existed for there to be any blame. I am not blaming her. I am disappointed by everyone assuming disabled people wouldn't want to or deserve to live. Again, I am pro-choice and a fetus is not a life, but I am not pro-eugenic thinking.
@112022945a@danishacarterr You seriously think people who have down syndrome would suffer so much they would choose death immediately? Again, I am pro choice and a fetus is not a life, but I dont think most disabled people would take kindly to assuming they want to die from suffering.
@cowboylikecaymi Please explain to me what Rainbow Capitalism would do to improve the lives of lgbtq+ people? I say good riddance. If they don't donate to causes and have pride in their lgbtq+ workers, then they shouldn't pretend to care. Queerness is not an aesthetic.
@shanewallick Is this is about the couple who terminated their pregnancy because the child would have had down syndrome? I will ALWAYS be pro-choice and a fetus is not a child, but if this was a planned pregnancy, I find their reasoning for the abortion ableist and yes, a form of Eugenics.
I am Pro-Choice but I am NOT pro Eugenics and Ableism. It is always the woman's right to choose, but if the reasoning behind that choice is because (if the pregnancy was planned) they weren't going to get the able-bodied child they expected? I am sorry, but that is just cruel.
I am pro choice all the way, that being said I found the reasoning for her choice quite cruel. People should not have a child if they can't handle them potentially being disabled. Obviously if circumstances were different I get it, but this was a planned pregnancy.
Pro lifers genuinely believe that you should be forced to carry and give birth to a disabled child that will need constant care their whole lives while they continue to support the party that vows to cut funding for every program that would help those individuals the most
So this is how the animation industry collapses....
You know more people who work in animation are gonna lose their jobs from getting their stuff leaked, right?
Do you hackers just not care about people? Do you really want to ruin people's lives?
Hackers are reportedly already targeting ‘Avatar: Seven Havens’ following the leak of ‘The Legend of Aang.’
“There’s more under the tip of the iceberg,” one hacker claimed, alleging that multiple people have access to unreleased Avatar content.
This is exactly why billionaires can’t exist. This man is burning the entire world down because he cannot accept his daughter for who she is. And he has the money to actually do it. No one can have that power.
@TMZ While I will always say its a woman's right to choose... the reasoning is quite upsetting. If they didn't feel ready to take care of someone with a disability, then they either shouldn't have planned to have kids in the first place or they should have given them up to adoption.
