Choose wisely. Academia isn’t required/essential so, if the right team don’t offer you a role, don’t force yourself through it.

@njoybetz Quit in year 4 after writing an approved thesis and completing all lab/field work… when the university asked me to pay £7k to submit it 😂

Told them to go F themselves, and went to get a real paying job.

Academia is just a transition space. Get through it, get out.

They are very unlikely to have a ‘Ford’ business card as all the work is delegated out to consultancies and other groups 😂

We also give the generic address to service providers.
