@DoesItPlay1 This is an outlier and also clearly a mistake that will be fixed. Nintendo has allowed slop games for far too long and this is more a reflection on that than GKCs. I would prefer a more curated game selection but at least it's not as bad as wii shop days (probably)🤷‍♂️

@LeesiBB @82and9make91 I'm not too sure of that, Wolverine has more solo titles than any other X-Men character. If that has a direct correlation to popularity can be debated but even in the 90s prior to the Fox films I routinely bought Wolverine solo comics. Storm was the only other I would buy or see.

@DrDootPhD I mean in that case even moreso for Xbox, because I can literally launch Xbox inside of PC. If that's the argument the only console worth purchasing is a Switch 1/2.

More teachers and healthcare workers are a net positive. The housing plan, free daycare and changing politicians wages...good luck.

@nevo1st @tankingtankingt @Variety I don't think it's that far gone. Everything 9-12 was pretty solid, 13 was uneven, 14 was good, 15 was fairly uneven. On balance in terms of storytelling more good than bad, in my opinion. They just need to right the ship towards consistency.

@StotheOB @AnAverageGamerX Xbox is not serious competition for Sony. Their install base is tiny and they have a much less certain future. Nintendo is nearly a different market and in a class of their own. I don't really see piracy becoming mainstream either. I predict Sony will be just fine.

@bbdd1928 @Romudeth I think, reasonably, if someone could afford a $600 console they would be able to save the extra $400. It may take a bit longer, but all things considered I'm not sure it'll be catastrophic.

@bbdd1928 @Romudeth The PS6 cannot be cheap because of component costs due to external market factors. There is simply no way to design and release a console more advanced than the PS5 at the PS5's price point.

@StotheOB @AnAverageGamerX Good question. The PS5 install base is currently around 90m globally. You'd have to figure out what % of that owns a PC capable of PS5 level gaming and then what % of that group has the knowledge and desire to pirate.

@ZanderCageBeats @Romudeth That's kind of...just how it works? You have a console cycle, the current cycle reaches saturation, you sell software. Announce and release the next generation of consoles, wash, rinse, repeat.

@Romudeth There is a key difference here though, the install base for the PS5 is already massive, around 90 million units, far more than any console sold in the 80s.
