Always lovely to spot a stunning young frog before winter sets in, soon they’ll vanish until breeding season in spring.
Remember to leave a bit of wild space in your garden, a leaf pile, compost heap, or rotting wood can make all the difference for wildlife this winter. 🍂🌿

If you're a dog owner please keep your pet on its leash around wild areas.Apart from the obvious tragic attacks on large animals, dogs disrupt local habitats and Insecticide on dogs' fur can kill off aquatic invertebrates in waterways.
Just have little consideration for nature.

A group of snails overwintering in a cosy nook of a tree. They form a protective cover over the opening of their shells by building up lairs of mucas & their blood acts as a type of anti-freeze, allowing them to survive temperatures as low as -5°.
