Florida’s property-tax amendment is no longer a Tallahassee theory.

DeSantis forced the fight, the Legislature sent it to voters, and now homeowners need a grassroots army to beat the local-government fear machine before it defines the issue first.

If local governments plan to scream police, fire, roads, and schools, the grassroots must answer with facts, mockery, and the simple truth: homeowners are not revenue livestock.
